Events menu¶

Chooses which event is active. Everything else in the program — entries, scoring, reports — acts on the active event.

Note

On Access 2007 and later this menu is under the Add-Ins tab.

Clicking the menu lists every event in the database for the current application, most recent first, each with its dates:

Miniature American Shepherd Club of the USA - 6 Nov 2023 to 7 Nov 2023
Premier test - 23 Jun 2023

A single-day trial shows one date rather than a range. The active event is ticked.

Clicking an event makes it active and changes the title bar:

Only one event is active at a time within an application. Agility and Obedience each remember their own, so switching applications does not lose your place.

Adding and removing events¶

Events are not created here. Use Setup → Event to add one, or the AKC import to build one from the published event numbers. Remove one with Delete → Delete All Event Data.

The list refreshes when an event is added or deleted.
