One installer covers every application and both 32-bit and 64-bit Microsoft Access. Choose which applications you want during setup.
Requirements
| Windows | Windows 7 SP1 or later. |
|---|---|
| Microsoft Access | Access 2010 or later. Not included — OpenTTM is an Access application and will not run without it. Either 32-bit or 64-bit works; the installer detects which you have and installs the matching version. If it cannot tell, it asks. |
| Disk space | About 220 MB for one application, more if you install several. |
| Administrator rights | Not needed for a new installation. |
Upgrading from an earlier version
Versions before 9.0.0 must be removed first. The installer detects the old version and offers to remove it. Windows will ask for administrator permission, because the old version was installed for all users. Setup cannot continue until it is gone.
Nothing of yours is removed. Your trial databases, the
Documents\Total Trial Management folder, your saved trial folders and your
settings all carry over untouched.
Since 9.0.0, OpenTTM installs for your Windows account rather than for the whole machine, which is why it no longer needs administrator rights and why the old version has to go: leaving both in place would put two entries in the Start Menu that look identical and run different software.
If more than one person uses this computer
Each Windows user runs the installer once. That is deliberate — a shared copy is not safe, because the program keeps working files inside its own front end while a trial is open.

What is new in 9.1.7
- Setting up a trial from the AKC no longer stops with “the field is too small” on a judge’s phone number or ZIP code.
- Help → About credits Robert Olson, with bob@rdolson.org as the contact.
9.1.6 was never published, so its changes are new in this installer too:
- Move Up prints the moved-up dog’s runs on quarter-sheet scribe sheets, and says how many sheets to load and which paper colour.
- An entry’s check numbers now follow its payment, and a voided check drops out.
- Find on Entries by Envelope searches dogs as well as owners.
- Copy All copies every dog in the envelope; Owner Maintenance can copy an owner’s address.
- The payment form’s Entry button always opens the dog you are looking at.
Your data file does not change — 9.1.7 opens a data file from 9.1.2 or later with no upgrade step. Coming from 9.0.x? Everything in the releases in between is in this installer too; see the full release notes, newest first.
Previous version: 8.0.6a95
The last release before 9.0.0, kept here for anyone who needs to go back to it. Most people should use the current version above: it does everything 8.0.6a95 did, and its installer removes 8.0.6a95 for you.

| Microsoft Access | 32-bit only. |
| Administrator rights | Needed. It installs for every user of the computer. |

Uninstall 9.x first (Windows Settings → Apps) if it is on this computer. The two install in different places, so both would otherwise appear in the Start Menu looking alike.
Take a copy of your data file before opening it with 8.0.6a95. A data file opened by 9.x has been upgraded. The upgrades only add to it, but 8.0.6a95 has not been tested against one.
